commercial, commissioned, unfinished, unthinking, free thinking and one-off exercises... and some filler
A collaborative venture called, 'Kitty and Fox' (both animals terminated 2015 due to kitty and fox mutual separation agreement)
Jewellery and fine art sold at specialist fairs and have started online. The little hip kids love it...
Kitty and fox are two animals who make jewellery and fine art.
Kitty loves playfully domestic jewellery with aggressively luminous colours.
Fox enjoys witty illustrations and found images left out by others.
Many are one-off designs with a playful subversive twist. Whether this be necklaces with toy soldiers brandishing crayons for a weapon, or illustrated greeting cards featuring a cute kitten with her mutilated prey. They don't aim for a brand identity or 'look'except when placed in fairs, however they do find recurring themes and ideas. Importantly, it is knowing that they are aimed at being sold as commercialised objects and targeted towards already determined audiences which allows new creations to be made with a degree of risk making and instinctive creations alongside those already proven to be saleable. Adaptions from unrealied ideas and crafts can also be exercised.
